FEMA Independent Study Program

The Emergency Management Institute (EMI) offers more than fifty independent study courses ( Home Study Driving School, Home Study Traffic School, Independent Study, Indiana University Continuing Study, International Study ). These are self-paced courses designed for people who have emergency management responsibilities and the general public. For most of our courses you will need to download and print the materials. Others are interactive courses that you can take directly over the internet. All are offered free-of-charge to those who qualify for enrollment. Each Independent Study Course includes lessons with practice exercises and a final examination. Students who score 75 percent or better are issued a certificate of achievement from EMI.

Nursing Case Study

Nursing Case Study Introduction This reflective case study will provide a written account of the care delivered to a client by myself. Its aim is to enhance the reader's knowledge of the importance of the nursing process and allow discussion to take place at each stage. It will firstly give a pen picture of the chosen client while offering a rationale for the choice. The care delivered will then be analysed using the elements of the nursing process as a structure while identifying any ethical considerations. The case study will make theoretical observations when required. Pilot Study

Perhaps the most critical piece of data from a pilot study is the standard deviation of your outcome measure. You cannot select an appropriate sample size for your study without knowing this value.

If your outcome measure is used very commonly, then you may already have an idea what your standard deviation is. Just look at some of the papers that you cited in your literature review. Each academic program is designed to help students gain a cultural understanding and personal independence that can only be achieved by living and studying in another country.

ISA program participants can study Spanish, French, or Italian at any proficiency level or can choose from programs taught entirely in English. Many ISA programs also offer the unique opportunity to enroll in courses with local students. You can get the audio lecture component of any of our courses pre-loaded on an Apple iPod Mini! (Of course, the audio CD option is still available.) An additional $300 deposit paid in advance is required, which will be refunded if the iPod is returned to us within 15 days after the bar exam.

Students choose our State Essay or Streamliner™ programs usually because they have passed the bar exam in another state and do not need another “complete” course. Or perhaps they have decided to study for the Multistate Bar Exam with another provider and know The Study Group’s reputation in the essay field is unsurpassed.

Study Guides

Many students do not have access to expensive test preparation resources. Educational support for test preparation is often under funded. This site represents the efforts of educators in Minnesota and is made possible by a generous grant from the McNamara Educational Trust. Together we have developed a series of free study guides on a variety of standardized tests commonly utilized for admissions, licensing, and educational assessment. In many cases, Study Hall, Study In Australia, Study In Canada, Study Island, Study Island Com, Study Italian In Italy, disadvantaged students do not have the resources to prepare for these tests. Our goal was to provide free study resources and study guides for those students to be adequately prepared for their examination. Moreover, we have created numerous study tips under our study resource directory. We hope to help students overcome their fear of math and improve their study techniques. With this new knowledge students will be able to perform better on standardized exams. Your study habits and skills will play a critical role in your success. You will need to be able to turn off the television, ignore distractions, and concentrate on your work.
